Dry January might be almost over, but that doesn’t mean the booze-free moment has to end. If you’re sober-curious or just looking for a good time beyond the brewery, we’ve rounded up some fun N/A things to do across the Mile High!
Bowling
Lucky strike or gutterball walk of shame — it’s all fun and games when you’re hanging with friends over a few rounds of this not-so-serious sport. Check out some independently owned joints like Crown Lanes, Holiday Bowling and Billiards, and Wheat Ridge Lanes for the perfect ten-pin ambiance.
Night at the Museum
Peruse the great rare bird dioramas or the gems and minerals collection at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science after dark during Friday evening hours. Or check out the Denver Art Museum’s seasonal late-night series, “Untitled,” which brings local artists into the galleries for special performances, temporary installations, and more after hours.
Go-Kart Racing
Immerse yourself in the thrill of a Formula One race as you zip around an indoor or outdoor track in miniature versions of real race cars. Drop-in with a friend or make a reservation for a big group at Podium Karting, Boondocks, or K1 Speed.
Beginner Swing Dancing
It doesn’t matter if you have no clue how to do the Lindy Hop — this beginners night class invites dancers of all levels to come coupled up or swinging solo. Going strong for decades, the Tuesday Lindy Hop lesson at Mercury Cafe is a great way to get your heartrate up and meet some new friends.
