🎷 Peyton’s rec: Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club: “If you really want to class it up for a night, make a reservation at Nocturne. The chefs, the bartenders, and the talent on stage all work together to create a super intimate, ultra cohesive, truly unique multi-course dining experience that incorporates what’s on your plate, what’s in your glass, and who’s playing on the stage. The food is phenomenal, the drinks are perfection, and the live music will take you somewhere new.”
💃 Producer Lizzie Goldsmith’s rec: Mercury Cafe: “Want to try out a new style of dancing or catch some live music? The Mercury Cafe has great vibes and a little bit of everything for your night out. It's the perfect excuse to get a little dressed up. I recommend taking a class and then staying for social dancing — or, the Merc’s open mic night might be more your cup of tea. And speaking of, lots of great eats and drinks here, too!”
🍣 Host Bree Davie’s rec: Sushi Sasa: “While there are lots of Denver sushi joints to choose from, Sushi Sasa is my go-to for date night. The crisp, blonde wood and white table cloth interior is just fancy enough (call it Colorado-fancy, so you know, Patagonia and jeans is fine,) but still welcoming without feeling highfalutin. The Hawaiian Style Hamachi, Vegetarian Tempura, Scottish Salmon Roll, and the Yuzu Cheesecake are not to miss. Just be sure to call ahead for reservations, because Sasa stays packed from open to close!”
