Known for a wine list of more than 30 bottles, Neighbors Park Hill has something for everyone, but it might be best for a sweet tooth thanks to the dessert wine offerings, including brandies, sherries, armagnacs, grappas, and ports. Try one with the chocolate cake or salted butterscotch ice cream.
This RiNo wine bar is the perfect place for Tempranillo and tapas, with an expansive menu of small bites, as well as shareable-sized paellas. The wine list focuses largely on Spanish creations, but also includes picks from Chile, Argentina, France, Germany, and Uruguay.
With vineyards in Colorado’s Grand Valley and Washington’s Horse Heaven Hills, Carboy Winery offers locally produced and environmentally sustainable wines, including a number of sparkling varieties. If you go during happy (3-6 p.m. daily), try the board and a bottle (charcuterie and your choice of wine) for just $35!
Maybe the only winery in Denver to craft wine on site, Bigsby’s Folly has an extensive selection of wines, largely from California, as well as brunch, lunch and dinner. Want to get more hands on? Sign up for a custom blending session to learn how to mix your own red blend from an expert.
If you’re looking to get into natural wines — wines with fewer additives and minimal intervention in fermentation — check out this Berkely bar. They even offer weekly and monthly wine flights to showcase certain regions or varietals.
