Easter is coming up this weekend, and what is it if not an excuse to dine egg-stravagantly? Restaurants across the city will be dishing up their holiday best — in fact, Westword has a whole list of Easter brunch options 👈 But here are a few of my personal picks, depending on the experience you’re going for. Seats fill up fast, and reservations are usually recommended, so you’d better hop to it 🐇
Formal and Fancy
For the Easter holiday Chez Maggy will have all the indulgent French classics, from Croque Madame and Steak Aux Poivre to fresh-baked French pastries, plus a bloody Mary and mimosa cart. ($55/person)
Guard and Grace is taking Easter brunch to decadent new depths with menu offerings such as a savory duck scramble or a Maine lobster omelet. Finish up with warm monkey bread or vanilla bean French toast.
Not Just ‘the Usual’
Yardbird is leaning into the flavors of the season with two Southern-inspired Easter menu specials: an asparagus and goat cheese benedict starring a smoked salmon cake and buttermilk biscuit drizzled in a tarragon Hollandaise; and a banana pudding cinnamon roll with bourbon caramel, vanilla wafers, and fresh whipped cream.
Craving something coastal? Blue Island Oyster Bar is dishing up some sea-forward brunch specials this Easter, including crab cake eggs benedict, grilled Spanish octopus, and of course their famed New England lobster roll.
Brunch and a Show
If you’re looking for a one-stop-Easter-shop, the Hilton Denver Inverness will have a massive brunch buffet (including prime rib, seafood, a donut wall — the works!), plus a family-friendly egg hunt, face-painting, the Easter bunny himself, and more. ($136.36/person)
If it’s more about the vibes than the bites, check out Red Barber’s rooftop “boozy bunny brunch,” which will feature some yummy small plates, but also an adult egg hunt, a cornhole tourney, and frosé. ($55)
Looking for a yummy brunch without the holiday bells and whistles? We’ve got you covered.
