🍭 For The Whole Family

Halloween Family Overnight | Friday, Oct. 25

Pack your sleeping bags and PJs for this family sleepover at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The evening will include Halloween-inspired crafts and activities, a pizza party, and a bedtime show in the planetarium. ($120 for adults, $110 for kids)

Howl-a-Ween Pet Parade | Saturday, Oct. 26

Let your pets show off their Halloween best at this free fur-friendly event at Union Station. There will be costume prizes and photo opps galore! (Not limited to pups! 🐾)

Trick or Treat Extravaganza | Sunday, Oct. 27

All ages are welcome to this free candy-gathering event at the Stanley Marketplace, when all the market’s stores will temporarily close up shop to hand out sweet treats to ghouls and goblins of all sizes! (5 p.m. until supplies run out!)

Coloween | Saturday, Oct. 26

Touting itself as the most legendary Halloween dance party of the year, this 21+ raucous rendezvous at the National Western Center boasts an impressive DJ lineup, interactive art installations, and a $7,500 costume contest grand prize. (GA $59.40; VIP $79.20)

Spirits & Spirits | Saturday, Oct. 26

Explore Denver’s Four Mile Historic Park after hours, when the sun has set and the spirits come out to play. This adults-only evening will explore Victorian Spiritualism through aura photography, tarot card readings, seances, and other Gilded Age-inspired metaphysical rituals. Plus, enjoy cocktail tastings, a candy bar, a s’mores station, and more! (GA $40; VIP $90)

💀 Día de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos Festival | Saturday, Oct. 26

Denverites are invited to remember and honor ancestors and loved ones who’ve passed at the City’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration at Civic Center Park. There will be community altars, traditional music and dancing, ofrendas, a procession, and more. (Family-friendly and free!)

Hecho en Westwood is hosting a three-day celebration to recognize different aspects of the holiday’s rich history, from pre-colonization traditions to contemporary representations of the observance. (Family-friendly and free!)
