Boo! Did Halloween sneak up on you this year? Procrastinators fear not, I’ve got options for you. Here are nine Hallows’ Eve events where you can get your spook on. I’ve got the deets, now you just need the costume.
🎃 For the Littles
This family-friendly evening at the Denver Zoo is perfect for the kiddos — especially tots who prefer a lower-stimulation alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Alongside the regular animal enclosures, there will be candy stations, seasonal snacks, and other Halloween magic. Tickets are $26 for adults. Kids 2 and under are free.
The Butterfly Pavilion invites families inside for trick-or-treating with an educational twist! Learn about the important roles of invertebrates in between candy stations. Enter in the costume contest, and don’t miss the pavilion’s seasonal Spider Zone enclosure, filled with free-roaming arachnids. Tickets are $17.45 for adults. Kids 2 and under are free.
🪩 For the Party Vibes
Elevate your Halloween experience at this adults-only (21+) celebration of the season where there will be elegant entertainment and handcrafted cocktails. This spirited soirée will take place in the Grand Atrium of the (allegedly haunted) Brown Palace Hotel. Tickets are $46. Attire is black-tie masquerade.
An army of the undead will be swarming Denver’s LoDo and RiNo neighborhoods, and they’ll be hungry … for brains booze! If you can’t decide which Halloween party to attend, you can hit more than a dozen of them on this annual bar crawl. Check-in is at Improper City. Tickets (which start at $34.79) include cover fees and drink specials at each stop.
