You might have heard us mention something called HEYDAY recently in the Hey Denver newsletter and on the City Cast Denver podcast. But what is HEYDAY? It’s only the can’t-miss most Denvery Denver event of the year! And we 👏 can’t 👏 wait 👏 Here’s everything you need to know.
What Is HEYDAY?
HEYDAY will be City Cast Denver’s inaugural in-person event to celebrate all things about the Mile High! The vibe will be “county fair” but with a distinctly Denver twist. Think: snowboarding simulator instead of mechanical bull, for example.
How Much Are Tickets and What Do They Include?
Adult tickets (13+) are $17.69. Children's tickets are $12.54. Admission includes all the live entertainment. Once you’re in, you can purchase tokens to play games, participate in unique experiences, and order delicious food!
So, What Kind of Food, Fun, and Entertainment Are We Talking?
For bites and bevs, prepare for classic fair food faves like nachos, churros, and hot dogs — but with a fun, fancy, and very Denver twist, as well as brews, wines, cocktails, and n/a drinks.
For entertainment, we’re excited to host a lineup of top local talent, including Ballet Folklórico, local drag legend Miss Jessica, Denver artist Kenzie Sitterud, friend of the show and beloved local comic Joshua Emerson, and so much more.
Plus, don’t miss the balloon art, face painting, photo booth bus, tarot readings, and a “Denverest Denverite” costume contest.
And of course we’ll be there 👋 And we’ll be joined by Mile High celebs like 9News’ Kyle Clark and Westword’s Patty Calhoun, as well a few other surprise guest appearances! 🤫
When and Where?
HEYDAY will take place at Asterisk event venue (1075 Park Avenue West) in Five Points on Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with timed entry windows (so you won’t encounter any long lines, we promise).
Important FYIs:
- This is a cash-free event! Only credit and debit cards will be accepted.
- Yes! There will be a complimentary coat-check! This is Colorado in March, after all.
