A Pothole That Needs Filling
For potholes on Denver streets, residents can call 311 or easily report the issue online at DenverGov.org, including the option to upload a photo of the offending pothole. For highways and other metro area counties, here’s a list of phone numbers and websites.
A Downed Powerline
In Denver, downed power lines should be reported immediately to Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-1999. Under no circumstances, should you ever approach a downed power line. If the downed line is in contact with another object, call 911.
A Dead Animal on the Street
The City and County of Denver will remove animal carcasses / roadkill from streets and public land — call 720-913-1311.
A Person in Crisis
If you encounter a person experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, Denver residents are encouraged to contact the Support Team Assisted Response (STAR) program at 720-913-7827. If you, or a person you encounter, are in crisis you can also call or text 988 for free confidential mental health support services.
An At-Large Dog
