Valentine’s Day is around the corner and love is in the air 💕 … or at least it’s an excuse for flowers and chocolate and a little self-care. Here are some cupid-approved happenings around the Mile High.

Go See a Show

  • Turn up the heat this Valentine’s Day with Love Bites, a themed burlesque show at Woods Boss Brewing on Feb. 10 featuring Denver’s best dancers.
  • Mortified, Denver’s favorite part-stand-up-comedy-part-confessional show, returns to the Oriental Theater on Feb. 14 for a love-themed edition where you can watch other brave souls read entries from their actual teenage journals.
  • There will be dancing, singing, and comedy in this Valentine Burlesque and Variety show at the Clocktower Cabaret on Feb. 14.

Get Crafty

  • In this Feb. 8 Art & Sip class at the Atrium Bar in Longmont, you’ll make your own personalized rubber block stamp so you can print handmade cards to pass out to all your Valentines.
  • Craft up something extra personal at this Collaging Pop-Up at the Center for Colorado Women’s History on Feb. 13-14. All crafting materials will be provided.
  • Use dried plants and flowers to make a DIY Valentine’s Day ornament at this Family Make and Take class at Denver Botanic Gardens on Feb. 10.

Eat a Sweet Treat

  • Through Feb. 12, you can order a Valentine’s Day WhiskeyGram from State 38 Distilling — that’s a bottle of whiskey paired with two cupcakes from Gold Mines Cupcakes and topped with a love note.
  • Celebrate the most special kind of love at this mother-daughter Valentine’s Day baking class at Plot Twist in Littleton on Feb. 3, where you’ll make your own chocolate-covered strawberry hand pies and sea salt toffee chocolate chip pan cookies.
  • Colorado Sake Co. is partnering with Colorado Cocoa Pod for a Valentine’s Day sake and bonbon pairing on Feb. 13.

Buy a Little Something Special

  • Shop 60+ local artists and makers, plus enjoy live music, a market bar, and DIY workshops, at the Denver Valentine’s BAZAAR in downtown Lakewood on Feb. 9-10.
