Jefferson Park looks a lot different than when I lived there in 2016. Back then the neighborhood was experiencing a growth boom that felt inescapable (it’s a tale as old as Denver, but picture massive construction sites right next to empty little homes). Located on the north side of I-25, right up against Empower Field at Mile High, there are plenty of things to do in this vibrant corner of Denver that I still enjoy visiting. Let’s take a stroll through a few of my favorites.
The gastropub is focused on balanced beers and creative food options. They also have great patio vibes.
It wouldn’t be Federal Boulevard without a spot for Mexican classics. Don’t pass up the micheladas or flautas.
Fantastic neighborhood pub with a community vibe, whether you want to watch football, make new friends over board games, or simply read a book at the bar.

Burn some calories while you enjoy views of Empower Field, Elitch Gardens, and some of the best people-watching in the city around REI. This city trail is a runner’s dream.
I can’t leave out the neighborhood namesake greenspace. The park might be modest in size but it’s great for walking your furry friends or getting some outdoor time on the basketball court.
