Tomorrow's Opening Day, y’all! Which means crowds of purple-clad fans will be flocking to downtown for a day of Denver fun. For all you baseball (or hot dog) fans, we put together a list of some of the best opening day specials around the city ⚾🌭🍻
Starting at 9 a.m. Friday, McGregor Square’s Milepost Zero will be open and serving up brews! The free party will have a live DJ throughout the day, as well as yard games and drink specials. The Rally Hotel is also getting in on the party and will feature caricature artists and local vendors.
Starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Union Station will host its free Opening Day Patio Party featuring live music from Prince cover band Paizley Park, brews from RATIO Beerworks, face-painting, and a 360-degree photobooth.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, the Denver Foos and La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant are hosting a free tailgate complete with a live podcast, sets from DJ ODT and DOMNEEZY, raffles and giveaways, and vendor booths.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, DNVR Crew will be partying at the Friday Rooftop Club at Coors Field presented by Raising Cane’s. Attendees get a free Raising Cane’s gift pack and $3 Coors Lights before first pitch. The event is free to attend, but be sure to RSVP!
From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Ajax restaurant is partnering with the Limelight Denver hotel to host an opening day picnic. For just $5 each, enjoy a dry-aged hot dog, a Limelight Lager, or a purple margarita! Enjoy a live DJ, games, and a Rockies’ spirit contest, so be sure to wear your best gear.
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Federales is offering special Opening Day day pricing on margaritas, taquitos, queso blanco, nachos, and guacamole, plus $20 beer buckets and $5 Coors Light drafts. The RiNo Mexican restaurant is also offering a free shuttle to Coors Field.
