Though Mile High Asian Food Week only started in 2023, the event has grown to encompass more than 80 restaurants, food trucks, cafes, and bars. To help you navigate so many great options, we’re sharing a few spots we’re most excited to hit up between April 28 and May 3!
If you want to get a taste of several local Asian restaurants at once, head to the Friends on Federal pop-up at Adobo tonight from 5-9 p.m. tCheck out out their Latin-Asian fusion, as well as bites from Kids Table, Pho King Rapidos, Rocky Mountain Momo, and Panda Bao.
Filipino restaurant Magna Kainan is offering a $45 three-course prix fixe menu with entree choices of lamb kaldereta stew, a sinigang soup with mussels, and crispy pork belly lechon. City Cast Denver Correspondent Helen Xu also can’t wait to try the Mom’s Crab Fat Noodles, which you can get from the regular menu.
Looking for lunch specials? MAKfam, a celebrated Chinese restaurant, is offering Mid-Day Munchies today and Wednesday from 2-5 p.m., which includes their housemade Sichuan BBQ Chicken on scallion pancakes. Or check out their collaboration with Indian restaurant Chaatwala from 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
A Denver staple since 1986, diners can enjoy 25% off everything on the fast casual Japanese restaurant’s menu! City Cast Denver host Bree Davies recommends the sweet and savory Inari, a classic Kokoro bowl, or the shrimp tempura splash — a hearty bowl of udon, fried veggie “bundles,” and tempura shrimp in a rich, salty broth. 🍜😋
